Do you have insurance?
Insurance, both medical and for sport, is mandatory to have during your time in an American college. Most college programs offer insurance plans that will cover you on campus but not include out of campus activities.
Tipp: Check in with your coach or international office to check which options are available for you. Very often schools accept insurance from (cheaper) outside provider as well (as long as they are compliant with the school’s insurance policies).
